Senior Staff

Bill became the senior minister at FPCG in 1997. With a Bachelor’s degree from Calvin College (1981), Bill went on to earn the Master of Divinity (1985) and Doctor of Ministry (2004) degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Greenwich, he served for seven years as the senior minister of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, his hometown. He also served for five years as an Associate Minister for New Members at the Abington Presbyterian Church in suburban Philadelphia. Bill and his wife Kathy (née Van Dyken), a dental hygienist, live in Old Greenwich with their Son Michael and daughter Taylor.
