Kibbie became the Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in October 2006. She received her undergraduate degree in Religion and Economics from Mount Holyoke College in 1991, where she graduated in the top 15% of her class as a Sarah Williston scholar. She received her Masters of Divinity from Yale Divinity School in 1997. Prior to coming to First Presbyterian Church, she served as the associate pastor for youth, children, and families at The Presbyterian Church in Pleasantville, New York from 2000 to 2006. She also served as the director of youth ministries at the First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan, CT from 1995-1997 and 1998-2000. Kibbie and her husband Jim have a daughter, Avery.
