Daily programming is designed to best meet the individual needs of our children. Classes are offered for the following age groups:

1) 2 1/2-year-olds' classes meet two days per week from 9:00 to 11:20 a.m. and 12:15 to 2:30 p.m. Children who are two years old by March 31st are eligible to begin school the following September.

2) 3-year-olds' classes meet two or three days per week: 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. Children who are three years old by December 31st are eligible for this program.

3) 4-year-olds' classes meet five days per week from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., or four days per week from 12:15 to 3:25 p.m. Children who are four by December 31st are eligible for this program.

The Nursery School's daily program provides a variety of experiences. Activities include:

* indoor and outdoor free play
* gross and fine motor skills development
* creative arts experiences
* music and creative movement
* dramatic play
* cooking
* science and discovery
* sand and water play
* age-appropriate field trips
* readiness experiences

The Nursery School works cooperatively with the Greenwich public school system and private schools to provide the learning experience that best prepares our children for a more formalized learning experience.
