B.Y.O.B.G. — Bring Your Old Baby GearAt the First Presbyterian Church Nursery School, we feel that one of the greatest things that we can teach our children is “love thy neighbor”. Toward that end, we are planning a Bring Your Old Baby Gear (BYOBG) and “Family Open House” scheduled for April 23-26th,2008. Donations of gently used and new baby goods will take place on April 23rdfrom 9:30-2pm and April 25thfrom 9:30 -12pm. We will be inviting 100 families from our local Social Service Agencies to participate in Open House on April 26th. During the Open House, Families in need will be able to “shop” for free, donated baby and children’s gear, clothes, furniture, safety equipment, toys, books and essentials. While parents are shopping at our free store, children aged 2-6 will be invited to a play-date on our playground. There will be a lemonade stand and Elmo will be stopping by to visit with the children. We are seeking donations from our church and school families as well as corporations in our community. Below is a list of items that we are seeking for this event. Your donation will be used for the sole purpose and benefit of the families that attend our event. No donations will be awarded to the First Presbyterian Church Nursery School students, families or employees. Our project goal is to provide an enjoyable Saturday morning for our guest families to choose much needed items that they need to thrive.
