The Reverend Joan Priest

Associate Minister for Mission and Nurture
Joan became the Associate Minister for Mission and Nurture at FPCG in April, 2010. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the College of Wooster in Ohio in 1984 where she majored in Religious Studies, and a Masters of Divinity in 1988 from Princeton Theological Seminary with a concentration in Pastoral Care and Counseling. Ordained for over 20 years, prior to coming to Greenwich, she served as an Associate Pastor for Youth and Families of the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville in New Jersey, a Clergy Affiliate of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church in North Carolina, and most recently as a Parish Associate and Temporary Pastoral Supply with a focus in Pastoral Care at the First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan and summer Temporary Pastoral Supply at the Wilton Presbyterian Church. Joan and her husband Jeffrey, a portfolio manager, live in New Canaan with their son Jacob, a sophomore at New Canaan High School; their daughter Amanda is a freshman at the College of Wooster. email: click here.
