FPCG Mission Trip 2024

Washington, DC

June 22-28

Every year, FPCG sends a group of missionaries made up of youth and adults to a part of our world/country where we can partner with local congregations to bring the love of God to their community. This year, we will be traveling to Washington, DC, to see the sights, meet local brothers and sisters in Christ, and support the important ministries happening in our nation’s capital. The trip is 7 days, 6 nights long. We will travel in vans from Greenwich to DC and back, and will be accompanied by thoroughly vetted female and male adult volunteers.

 

We have worked with Praying Pelican Missions for over a decade, an organization that specializes in local missions and has partnered with churches all over the world. They will provide a safe environment, lodging and showers, an orientation and daily debriefing, along with great meals and fun activities.

 

We will cap the trip off with a tour of some of DC’s most famous and recognizable sights! You won’t want to miss this chance to serve and bond with the people in our group, along with the people we will minister to.

The cost of the trip is $775 per person. This includes all travel, food, lodging and activities throughout the trip. The only additional $ participants will need to bring will be minor spending money, should the participant want to purchase a special meal or souvenirs during the trip. That said, cost should never be a deterrent from participation! There are scholarships available, so please don’t hesitate to reach out for more information. If for any reason you cannot join us in person, but would like to support the trip financially, please let us know! You may write a check to FPCG, “Mission Trip Support” in the memo line.
