Our Youth Ministry

 

Middle School Youth Group – Grades 5-7

Calling all 5th – 7th graders! Middle School ministry meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 am in the Youth Room. Led by our Associate Minister, Rev. Andre Castillo, this is a time of engaging with the Word of God in fun ways, and growing in our relationships with God and one another.

Friday Night Socials are held once a month on Friday evenings. Join us from 6:30 – 8:00 pm in the Youth Room for Bible-based games, fellowship and fun. Dinner is included, and friends are always welcome! Winter/Spring dates are: 1/27, 2/24, 3/24, 4/28, and 5/19.

 

Confirmation – Grade 8

Beginning on Sunday, January 15 from 4:00 – 5:45 pm, Confirmation Classes will be offered for our 8th grade students. This is a great opportunity to have fun with our peers, to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus, and to grow into a faith that is authentic to who we are. Visitors and friends are welcome!

High School Ministry – Grades 9-12

We have regular High School fellowship events and service projects throughout the year at FPCG!

• Midnight Run (April 21,  7:00 pm – 12:00 am). Mark your calendars for our next Midnight Run to benefit the homeless in NYC.

• Summer Youth Mission trip to Jackson, MS (June 24-30). We will build on our already-strong relationships and mission work from our trip there last summer! Open to all rising 9th graders and up (middle schoolers with a parent accompanying).
